The Lung Cancer Research Laboratory, led by Prof. Meylan, focuses on studying the mechanisms underlying the development of lung cancer. Current research emphasizes intercellular communication systems, signaling pathways affecting tumor cells, the immune system, and tumor metabolism. By investigating immune and metabolic alterations that impact tumor development, the lab aims to provide new insights into potential treatment strategies. Recently, the lab has relocated to the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium, where it continues its cutting-edge research.
