Le projet a pour but de concevoir un gant à retour de force. Ce gant devra agir sur le bout des doigts de l'utilisateur afin de recréer la sensation de saisie d'objet entre ses doigts. Dans une première approche, nous nous focaliserons sur un seul doigt: l'index. Et nous développerons un prototype capable d'appliquer une force au bout de celui-ci. La force sera générée à l'aide d'un frein unidirectionnel à fluide magnéto-rhéologique; il faudra donc que le frein puisse être fixé sur le gant. Ce type de frein a commencé à être développé au sein du laboratoire dans des projets précédents Nous pouvons donc reprendre ce qui a déjà été réalisé dans ce domaine pour l'appliquer à notre gant à retour de force.

engineering has remained very traditional. The advances made in the fields of representation and visualisation, and in particular the progress made in virtual reality, lead us to wonder what added value this technology can bring to the world of construction. This project will consist of the static analysis of a school in Fribourg, Switzerland, and then representing the calculations on a 3D model for visualisation in virtual reality. This will be followed by an exploration of the different techniques and possibilities that VR has to offer to the construction world. The main advantages that VR offers are a better visualization of projects, whether it is for constructive details or for the building as a whole. It also allows a good anticipation of unforeseen events that may be encountered during the construction process. In addition, VR is interesting for the different parties involved in a project, whether it be the engineer, the architect, the construction company or the owner. In conclusion, this technology has already proven its value in other fields and the construction field would benefit from integrating the use of VR in its projects.

Virtual reality add-on device for stereotactic neurosurgery

An add-on device for use in combination with a stereotactic apparatus is herein disclosed, the device including a stereotactic adapter, an optical support comprising lenses and a display support adapted to accommodate a virtual reality display. The stereotactic adapter can adapt to different commercial models of stereotactic systems, and is particularly intended for implementing a method for conducting cognitive and/or behavioral tests in subjects during neurosurgery, wherein a virtual reality stimulus is provided to said subject during awake phases of neurosurgery.
