This lecture covers the functional anatomy and force generation of muscles, including the structure and molecular functioning of the active part of the muscle, measurement of muscle activity and mechanical properties, force-EMG relationship, passive and active force-elongation curves, force-velocity curve, and the incorporation of muscle function in biomechanics through spring and active elements.
