Jean ClamJean Clam (born 1958) is a philosopher, sociologist and psychologist. He is Research Fellow at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Paris, presently affiliated to the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. His numerous researches deal mainly with sociology and psychology of intimacy, legal theory (in particular that of Niklas Luhmann) and general theory of the human and social sciences. Barthélemy de LaffemasBartholomew Laffemas was an economist, born in Beausemblant, France in 1545. He is officially recorded as dying in Paris in 1612. However, it is rumoured that he actually died on September 23, 1611, after falling from his horse. He is known as the first person to write about underconsumption Coming from the gentry Protestant, poor, he worked and became a tailor. He left the Dauphiné and went to Navarre. There he met Henry of Navarre, the future Henry IV of France. Then, in 1576, he became a "silver merchant" for the king.
Olivier FillieuleOlivier Fillieule is a political scientist and sociologist. Fillieule serves as Senior Researcher at CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique) (CRPS Paris I Sorbonne), full-time Professor at the University of Lausanne, and Director of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IEPI). In 1994, Fillieule and Nonna Mayer created the GERMM study and research group of the French Political Science Association. The research group is currently directed by Eric Agrikoliansky, Fillieule and Mayer.
Thierry PauchantThierry Pauchant is a professor at École des hautes études commerciales de Montréal, where he founded the Ethics Management Chair. Born in France in 1954, Pauchant is Ethics Management Chair Director at HEC Montréal, where he began his studies. He completed his PhD in California. In 1987, he moved to Quebec, where in 1991 he became a Canadian citizen. He currently teaches professional programs (DESG, MBA) and research programs (M.Sc. and PhD) at HEC Montreal, where he founded the Ethics Management Chair, which is the first chair of its kind in a French-speaking business school.
Robert DoisneauRobert Doisneau (ʁɔbɛʁ dwano; 14 April 1912 – 1 April 1994) was a French photographer. From the 1930s, he photographed the streets of Paris. He was a champion of humanist photography and with Henri Cartier-Bresson a pioneer of photojournalism. Doisneau is known for his 1950 image Le baiser de l'hôtel de ville (The Kiss by the City Hall), a photograph of a couple kissing on a busy Parisian street. He was appointed a Chevalier (Knight) of the Legion of Honour in 1984 by then French president, François Mitterrand.
Maryse MarpsatMaryse Marpsat (born 1951) is a French sociologist and statistician whose work employs methods drawn from sociology and statistics but also mathematics. Her major sociological works concern poverty, inequality and homeless situation. She is a civil servant, administrator of the French National Institute of Statistics (INSEE) and a fellow of the CSU, a French research institute specializing in sociological studies in urban societies.

Jean-Baptiste-Joseph GobelJean-Baptiste-Joseph Gobel (1 September 1727 – 13 April 1794) was a French Catholic cleric and politician of the Revolution. He was executed during the Reign of Terror. Gobel was born in the town of Thann in Alsace to a lawyer to the Sovereign Council of Alsace and tax collector for the Seigneury of Thann. After outstanding success in his early schooling in Porrentruy, he studied at the Jesuit college in Colmar, then theology in the German College in Rome, from which he graduated in 1743.

He has served in the French Air Force for 27 years. He is the co-founder and co-director of the Global AI Ethics Institute in Paris. He is also an instructor and research associate with the Frankfurt Big Data Lab at the Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany and a research fellow with the Centre for Defence and Security Studies at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada.
Académie de Poésie et de MusiqueThe Académie de Poésie et de Musique (Académie de poésie et de musique), later renamed the Académie du Palais, was the first Academy in France. It was founded in 1570 under the auspices of Charles IX of France by the poet Jean-Antoine de Baïf and the musician Joachim Thibault de Courville. The purpose of the Académie was to revive Classical Greek and Roman poetry and music. It met regularly at Baïf's house in Paris, and had two classes of members — "musicians", or poets, singers and instrumentalists; and "auditors", or subscribers who helped support the academy financially.
