Office of Equipment and Centers

The Office of Equipment and Centers at EPFL plays a crucial role in coordinating the acquisition of major scientific equipment, managing financial aspects of large research projects, and overseeing the management of technological platforms and transdisciplinary entities. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice Presidency for Centers and Platforms, the office ensures that all equipment acquisitions follow the correct processes, supports financial reporting for national research projects like NCCR Robotics and NCCR Marvel, and implements operational practices for EPFL centers. Additionally, it provides essential services related to research infrastructure, centers management, and equipment funding and acquisition.
