The EPFL Integrative Food and Nutrition Center (IFNC) acts as an interface between EPFL, industry players, and research organizations to maximize the positive impact of science and technologies on food systems. Collaborating in areas such as sustainable packaging, bio-based materials, smart packaging, precision nutrition, and digital epidemiology, IFNC aims to bridge the gap between science and industry by fostering innovation and research. Through a modular project-based approach, IFNC leverages cross-industry expertise to solve complex transdisciplinary challenges and offers a unique ecosystem of world-class experts, with a focus on sustainability and innovation in food systems. As a founding member of the Swiss Food and Nutrition Valley, IFNC plays a pivotal role in connecting leading R&D industry partners and complementary actors in Switzerland to drive research and innovation in food and nutrition.
