Gnansounou Group

The Group of Gnansounou (GR-GN), also known as the Bioenergy and Energy Planning Research Group (BPE), focuses on integrating clean technologies into energy systems, the environment, and society. Their research involves life cycle analysis, sustainability assessment of bio-based products, and introducing renewable energy into energy systems. They aim to design sustainable energy technology mixes with a higher share of renewable and clean energy, contributing to the development of secure energy systems. The group also works on assessing energy vulnerability in industrialized countries and evaluating the socio-economic aspects of Fusion energy technology. Through teaching activities, they educate future engineers and managers on energy-related topics.
