Nanophotonics and Metrology Laboratory

The Laboratory of Nanophotonics and Metrology (NAM) at EPFL focuses on plasmonics, the optics of metallic nanostructures. Their research encompasses nanophotonics, electromagnetics, and nanotechnologies, with a strong emphasis on modeling, nanofabrication, and optical characterization. The team explores various applications such as optical metasurfaces, nonlinear plasmonics, biosensing techniques, security elements, and fundamental properties of plasmonic nanostructures.
