The SCI STI MM Group at EPFL focuses on the design and development of software hardware system architectures for digital signal processing and communications. Their research spans multimedia, telecom applications, CAD tools for dataflow-based HW and SW synthesis, and blockchain technology. They are pioneers in the analysis of heterogeneous data for blockchain applications and have recently ventured into bioinformatics, applying their expertise in SW and HW optimization to genomic data compression and processing.
