SSV - Gestion

The EPFL School of Life Sciences, Section of SSV - Gestion, offers multi-disciplinary education in engineering, basic and computer sciences combined with biology. Professors from diverse backgrounds collaborate to address fundamental questions in biological sciences and biomedical challenges. The unit provides Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs in various life sciences fields, including biotechnology, bioengineering, computational biology, molecular life sciences, and neurosciences. Students have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Research Program, where they can engage in cutting-edge research projects ranging from engineering to quantitative biology. The program features lab immersion, mentoring by faculty, access to scientific seminars, and social activities, providing students with valuable research experience and preparing them for future independent research as graduate students.
