Market environment
Market environment and business environment are marketing terms that refer to factors and forces that affect a firm's ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships. The business environment has been defined as "the totality of physical and social factors that are taken directly into consideration in the decision-making behaviour of individuals in the organisation." The three levels of the environment are as follows: Internal environment – the internal elements of the organisation used to create, communicate and deliver market offerings.
Étude de marché
Une étude de marché est une activité d'exploitation marketing destinée à analyser, comprendre et mesurer le fonctionnement réel des forces à l'œuvre dans le cadre d'un marché. Il s'agit d'une activité typiquement mise en œuvre dans le cadre de la démarche du marketing management. Concrètement — une fois établi le périmètre à observer — cela recouvre l'étude des comportements, des appréciations, des besoins et des attentes des demandeurs et offreurs présents sur ce marché, ainsi que celles des conditions selon lesquelles ceux-ci agissent (ou non) pour réaliser les échanges correspondants à la satisfaction de leurs buts et intérêts.
Conseil en stratégie
Le conseil en stratégie est une activité économique visant à fournir aux dirigeants d'entreprises des conseils spécialisés pour la définition d'une stratégie d'entreprise. En matière de périmètre d'action, les consultants en stratégie peuvent être amenés à intervenir sur toute problématique ne trouvant pas de solution formalisée, toute faite, prête à l'emploi. Les entreprises font appel à des sociétés de conseil, qui envoient alors des consultants dans l'entreprise cliente. La typologie des cabinets de conseil est extrêmement variée.
Scenario planning
Scenario planning, scenario thinking, scenario analysis, scenario prediction and the scenario method all describe a strategic planning method that some organizations use to make flexible long-term plans. It is in large part an adaptation and generalization of classic methods used by military intelligence. In the most common application of the method, analysts generate simulation games for policy makers.
Business performance management
Business performance management (BPM), also known as corporate performance management (CPM) enterprise performance management (EPM), organizational performance management, or simply performance management are a set of management and analytic processes that ensure activities and outputs meet an organization's goals in an effective and efficient manner. Business performance management is contained within approaches to business process management.
Loyalty business model
The loyalty business model is a business model used in strategic management in which company resources are employed so as to increase the loyalty of customers and other stakeholders in the expectation that corporate objectives will be met or surpassed. A typical example of this type of model is: quality of product or service leads to customer satisfaction, which leads to customer loyalty, which leads to profitability.
Value proposition
In marketing, a company’s value proposition is the full mix of benefits or economic value which it promises to deliver to the current and future customers (i.e., a market segment) who will buy their products and/or services. It is part of a company's overall marketing strategy which differentiates its brand and fully positions it in the market. A value proposition can apply to an entire organization, or parts thereof, or customer accounts, or products or services. Creating a value proposition is a part of the overall business strategy of a company.
Experience curve effects
In industry, models of the learning or experience curve effect express the relationship between experience producing a good and the efficiency of that production, specifically, efficiency gains that follow investment in the effort. The effect has large implications for costs and market share, which can increase competitive advantage over time. Learning curve An early empirical demonstration of learning curves was produced in 1885 by the German psychologist Hermann Ebbinghaus.
Théorie du management par les ressources
La théorie du management par les ressources ou resource-based view (RBV) est un cadre de gestion utilisé pour déterminer les ressources stratégiques susceptibles de fournir un avantage comparatif à une entreprise. L’entreprise peut exploiter ces ressources pour obtenir un avantage concurrentiel durable. L'article de Barney publié en 1991, intitulé «Firm Resources and Sustained Competitive Advantage», est largement cité comme un élément essentiel de l'émergence de la théorie du management par les ressources.
Morphological analysis (problem-solving)
Morphological analysis or general morphological analysis is a method for exploring possible solutions to a multi-dimensional, non-quantified complex problem. It was developed by Swiss astronomer Fritz Zwicky. General morphology was developed by Fritz Zwicky, the Bulgarian-born, Swiss-national astrophysicist based at the California Institute of Technology. Among others, Zwicky applied morphological analysis to astronomical studies and jet and rocket propulsion systems.
