Hadoti
Hadoti is a region of Rajasthan state in western India, which was once called the Bundi Kingdom. The biggest cities are Jhalawar and Kota. It includes the districts of Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar and Kota and is bounded on the west by the Mewar, on the northwest by Ajmer regions of Rajasthan, and on the south by the Malwa, on the east by the Gird regions of Madhya Pradesh state. Jhalawar district is one of the 33 districts of Rajasthan state in western India. The historical city of Jhalawar is the administrative headquarters of the Jhalawar district. The district is bounded on the northwest by Kota district, on the northeast by Baran district, on the east by Guna district of Madhya Pradesh state, on the south by Rajgarh district and Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh state and on the west by Ratlam district and Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh state. The district occupies an area of 6219 km2.

Le rajasthani (राजस्थानी Rājasthānī) est une langue parlée au Rajasthan (en Inde et au Pakistan) par environ 20 millions de locuteurs (ou 50 millions si on y inclut le marwari qui n'a pas de statut officiel). Elle était autrefois définie comme la variété occidentale du hindi. Elle appartient au sous-groupe indo-aryen de la branche indo-iranienne des langues indo-européennes. En Inde, la langue est écrite avec l’alphasyllabaire devanagari ; au Pakistan où la langue est minoritaire, elle est transcrite dans l’écriture perso-arabe, dans le même alphabet modifié que celui utilisé pour le sindhi (qui s’écrit aussi dans les deux écritures).
Rajasthan
Le Rajasthan (en राजस्थान , « pays des rois ») est un État du nord-ouest de l'Inde. Sa capitale est Jaipur. Il est bordé à l'ouest par le Pakistan, au nord par le Pendjab, au nord-est par le Haryana et l'Uttar Pradesh, au sud-est par le Madhya Pradesh et au sud-ouest par le Gujarat. Le Rajasthan a été formé le , quand les anciens États princiers du Rajputana se sont fondus pour la création de l'Inde. Le Rajasthan est le fruit de multiples traditions historiques dont principalement celle des Rajputs mais aussi des Naths, des Jats, des Bhils, des Ahirs, des Gujars et des Meenas.
