This paper reports the design, fabrication, and testing of a new-concept triboelectric generator (TEG) based on hybrid layers of carbon nanotube (CNT) and wearable polymer. The mix of layers has two functionalities; as triboelectric material and as electrode. Here, the mixing of two materials in liquid phase for proven effective power generation is shown. In this research, CNT provides the function of conductivity, whereas silk forms the main power generation material that is uniformly mixed with CNT, to achieve a conductive film with superior power generation capability. Our work differs from previous studies as earlier work used electrodes and friction materials that are independent, and then combined in a coating manner
