Géométrie analytique

La géométrie analytique est une approche de la géométrie dans laquelle les objets sont décrits par des équations ou des inéquations à l'aide d'un système de coordonnées. Elle est fondamentale pour la physique et l'infographie. En géométrie analytique, le choix d'un repère est indispensable. Tous les objets seront décrits relativement à ce repère. Repérage dans le plan et dans l'espace Le terme de géométrie analytique, par opposition à la géométrie synthétique, se réfère aux méthodes d'analyse et synthèse pratiquées par les géomètres grecs.

Spring (framework)

En informatique, Spring est un framework open source pour construire et définir l'infrastructure d'une application Java, dont il facilite le développement et les tests. En 2004, Rod Johnson a écrit le livre Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development qui explique les raisons de la création de Spring. Spring est considéré comme un conteneur dit « léger ». La raison de ce nommage est expliquée par Erik Gollot dans l’introduction du document Introduction au framework Spring.

History of Python

Python (programming language) The programming language Python was conceived in the late 1980s, and its implementation was started in December 1989 by Guido van Rossum at CWI in the Netherlands as a successor to ABC capable of exception handling and interfacing with the Amoeba operating system. Van Rossum is Python's principal author, and his continuing central role in deciding the direction of Python is reflected in the title given to him by the Python community, Benevolent Dictator for Life (BDFL).

IntelliCAD

IntelliCAD is a CAD editor and development platform with an Application Programming Interface API published by the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium ("ITC") through shared development. IntelliCAD emulates the basic interface and functions of AutoCAD, however, it is particularly able to incorporate and interchange freely between a wide variety of file types (i.e. dwg., BIM, TIFF, etc.).

Bourne shell

Le Bourne shell ou bsh (ou encore simplement sh dans de nombreuses versions d'UNIX) est un shell Unix. C'est le shell par défaut de la version 7 d'Unix ; dans les versions antérieures d'UNIX, le nom sh désigne le Thompson shell, et dans certaines versions actuelles, il désigne le Korn shell. Le Bourne shell a été programmé par Stephen Bourne (d'où le nom) d'AT&T Bell Laboratories et a fait son apparition pour la première fois en 1977 sur la version 7 d'Unix qui était distribuée aux universités et académies.

Shell Unix

vignette|Shell Bash sur Linux Un shell Unix est un interpréteur de commandes destiné aux systèmes d'exploitation Unix et de type Unix qui permet d'accéder aux fonctionnalités internes du système d'exploitation. Il se présente sous la forme d'une interface en ligne de commande accessible depuis la console ou un terminal. L'utilisateur lance des commandes sous forme d'une entrée texte exécutée ensuite par le shell. Dans les différents systèmes d'exploitation Microsoft Windows, le programme analogue est command.

BricsCAD

BricsCAD is a software application for computer-aided design (CAD), developed by Bricsys nv. The company was founded in 2002 by Erik de Keyser, a longtime CAD entrepreneur. In 2011 Bricsys acquired the intellectual property rights from Ledas for constraints-based parametric design tools, permitting the development of applications in the areas of direct modeling and assembly design. Bricsys is headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, and has additional development centers in Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk, Russia; Bucharest, Romania and Singapore.

Damage tolerance

In engineering, damage tolerance is a property of a structure relating to its ability to sustain defects safely until repair can be effected. The approach to engineering design to account for damage tolerance is based on the assumption that flaws can exist in any structure and such flaws propagate with usage. This approach is commonly used in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering to manage the extension of cracks in structure through the application of the principles of fracture mechanics.

Mobile development framework

A mobile development framework is a software framework that is designed to support mobile app development. It is a software library that provides a fundamental structure to support the development of applications for a specific environment. Frameworks can be in three categories: native frameworks for platform-specific development, mobile web app frameworks, and hybrid apps, which combine the features of both native and mobile web app frameworks.

Gender of connectors and fasteners

In electrical and mechanical trades and manufacturing, each half of a pair of mating connectors or fasteners is conventionally assigned the designation male or female. The female connector is generally a receptacle that receives and holds the male connector. Sometimes the terms plug and socket or jack are used, particularly in reference to electrical connectors. In some cases, the pins on the connector may have the opposite nominal gender to the mounted connector, such as the RCA connector.
