G0 phase
DISPLAYTITLE:G0 phase The G0 phase describes a cellular state outside of the replicative cell cycle. Classically, cells were thought to enter G0 primarily due to environmental factors, like nutrient deprivation, that limited the resources necessary for proliferation. Thus it was thought of as a resting phase. G0 is now known to take different forms and occur for multiple reasons. For example, most adult neuronal cells, among the most metabolically active cells in the body, are fully differentiated and reside in a terminal G0 phase.
Infection nosocomiale

Une infection est dite « nosocomiale » ou « hospitalière », si elle est absente lors de l'admission du patient à l'hôpital et qu'elle se développe au moins après l'admission ou un délai supérieur à la période d'incubation. Ce délai permet de distinguer une infection d'acquisition communautaire d'une infection nosocomiale.
Cyclin-dependent kinase 2
Cyclin-dependent kinase 2, also known as cell division protein kinase 2, or Cdk2, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the CDK2 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family of Ser/Thr protein kinases. This protein kinase is highly similar to the gene products of S. cerevisiae cdc28, and S. pombe cdc2, also known as Cdk1 in humans. It is a catalytic subunit of the cyclin-dependent kinase complex, whose activity is restricted to the G1-S phase of the cell cycle, where cells make proteins necessary for mitosis and replicate their DNA.
Corrélation (statistiques)
En probabilités et en statistique, la corrélation entre plusieurs variables aléatoires ou statistiques est une notion de liaison qui contredit leur indépendance. Cette corrélation est très souvent réduite à la corrélation linéaire entre variables quantitatives, c’est-à-dire l’ajustement d’une variable par rapport à l’autre par une relation affine obtenue par régression linéaire. Pour cela, on calcule un coefficient de corrélation linéaire, quotient de leur covariance par le produit de leurs écarts types.
Klebsiella pneumoniae
Klebsiella pneumoniae (anciennement Hyalococcus aerogenes) est l'espèce type du genre Klebsiella. C'est un bacille Gram négatif, non-mobile, encapsulé, anaérobie facultatif, capable de fermenter le lactose sur milieu MacConkey avec des colonies d'aspect mucoïdes. L'espèce Klebsiella pneumoniae a d'abord été décrite comme Hyalococcus pneumoniae par Schroeter avant d'être renommée Klebsiella pneumoniae par Trevisan.
Cell growth
Cell growth refers to an increase in the total mass of a cell, including both cytoplasmic, nuclear and organelle volume. Cell growth occurs when the overall rate of cellular biosynthesis (production of biomolecules or anabolism) is greater than the overall rate of cellular degradation (the destruction of biomolecules via the proteasome, lysosome or autophagy, or catabolism). Cell growth is not to be confused with cell division or the cell cycle, which are distinct processes that can occur alongside cell growth during the process of cell proliferation, where a cell, known as the mother cell, grows and divides to produce two daughter cells.
Intraclass correlation
In statistics, the intraclass correlation, or the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), is a descriptive statistic that can be used when quantitative measurements are made on units that are organized into groups. It describes how strongly units in the same group resemble each other. While it is viewed as a type of correlation, unlike most other correlation measures, it operates on data structured as groups rather than data structured as paired observations.
Pearson correlation coefficient
In statistics, the Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) is a correlation coefficient that measures linear correlation between two sets of data. It is the ratio between the covariance of two variables and the product of their standard deviations; thus, it is essentially a normalized measurement of the covariance, such that the result always has a value between −1 and 1. As with covariance itself, the measure can only reflect a linear correlation of variables, and ignores many other types of relationships or correlations.
