Traffic load generation for the fatigue assessment of the 3rd Bosphorus bridge

This report presents the traffic simulation model for the fatigue life prediction of the stiffening cables and hangers from the 3rd Bosporus bridge in Istanbul, a 2164m long hybrid suspended/stay-cable bridge with a main span of 1408m. Probabilistic models for highway and railway traffic are developed based on traffic data.
