This lecture covers the dynamic model of a 2-degree mobility system known as a floating oscillator, focusing on the equation of motion, inertias, and transmission forces. It discusses the distinction between static and dynamic forces, the influence of system dynamics on vibrations, and the characterization of efforts. The concept of transmissibility and resonance is explained, along with examples of motor groups and the transmission of force through shafts. Strategies for reducing efforts, such as adjusting stiffness and damping, and the use of elastic couplings to reduce transmissibility are also explored.
