Teaching solution design

This lecture explores the main skills students need to work on complex problems, the concept of solution design in relation to problem solving and inquiry, and the impact of projects on learning. Through examples like the Tham Luang cave rescue, methods to solve complex problems, teaching using projects, and challenges faced when dealing with complex problems are discussed. The evidence on the impact of Problem-Based Learning is also presented, highlighting its effects on different aspects of learning.
