This lecture introduces the fundamental concepts of Descriptive Geometry, covering points, lines, planes, intersections, parallelism, perpendicularity, shadows, metric problems, circle projections, and software usage. The course aims to enhance students' ability to solve spatial geometry problems using Monge's representation, axonometry, and perspective. It includes exercises and discussions on spheres, cones, and cylinders, with a focus on shadows. Weekly in-person classes and exercises are held, supplemented with online resources. The lecture also discusses the relative positions of two lines in space, emphasizing coplanarity and parallelism.
