Continuous Surveillance: Sensor Transition Control

This lecture presents a paper on ensuring continuous surveillance despite sensor transition using control barrier functions in scenarios where sensors may lose track of a robot inside constrained environments, such as cities or forests. The proposed solution involves a robot equipped with local sensors, like cameras, to track the robot's position within target tracking areas, ensuring robust tracking of intruders with random trajectories.
