This lecture discusses the development of powered lower limb exoskeletons for gait assistance in rehabilitation and daily living activities. The instructor presents the exoskeletons developed by the REHAssist research group, addressing different pathologies and needs. Control strategies, effectiveness, and synergy between the wearer and exoskeleton are key research aspects. Future challenges and projects to enhance gait assistance are also explored.
