The Association of Astronomy, known as Callista, is an EPFL student association dedicated to promoting interest in astronomy and astrophysics. Founded in 1997, Callista organizes a variety of activities such as solar and nighttime observations, conferences, and collaborations with EPFL laboratories and external associations. With a focus on educational outreach, the association aims to combine the educational aspects of astronomy with the joy of stargazing. Callista also engages in astrophotography and is equipped with a range of telescopes for both solar and nighttime observations. The association is recognized by EPFL and is a member of the Union Romande des Societes d'Astronomie (URSA).
