Satanism
Satanism is a group of ideological and philosophical beliefs based on Satan. Although several historical precedents exist, the contemporary religious practice of Satanism began with the founding of the atheistic Church of Satan by Anton LaVey in the United States in 1966. Prior to that time, Satanism existed primarily as the subject of accusations by various Christian groups toward perceived ideological opponents rather than a self-identity or expressed religious belief.
Witch-cult hypothesis
The witch-cult hypothesis is a discredited theory that the witch trials of the Early Modern period were an attempt to suppress a pagan religion that had survived the Christianization of Europe. According to its proponents, accused witches were actually followers of this alleged religion. They argue that the supposed 'witch cult' revolved around worshiping a Horned God of fertility and the underworld, whose Christian persecutors identified with the Devil, and whose followers held nocturnal rites at the witches' Sabbath.
Grimoire

Un grimoire est un livre de magie comprenant habituellement des instructions sur la façon de lancer des sorts, créer des enchantements, se livrer à la divination, fabriquer des objets magiques tels que les talismans et les amulettes ou encore invoquer des entités surnaturelles : anges, démons, esprits ou divinités. On a parfois attribué certaines propriétés magiques aux grimoires eux-mêmes, tout comme certains textes sacrés (tels la Bible), supposés posséder eux aussi des propriétés surnaturelles intrinsèques.
Ahriman

Dieu cornu
Depuis les travaux de l'anthropologue Margaret Murray, le "Dieu cornu" (en anglais Horned God) désigne une des plus importantes divinités vénérées depuis la préhistoire et jusqu'à l'avènement du christianisme par divers peuples du nord de l'Europe, à qui on attribue souvent l'apparence d'un cerf. Il correspond à l’origine à ce que les ethnologues, anthropologues et historiens des religions appellent le Maître ou Seigneur des animaux.
