In this paper we analyzed the time intervals between flashes in the Santis area for three highly active storms and also for a period of 21 months. The overall distributions of inter-flash time interval are found to be very similar and reasonably represented by an exponential probability distribution function. The mean value of the inter-flash interval for the 21-month long period is 23 seconds. About half of the flashes occurred within 5 seconds of the previous flash.
