The Biomolecular Crypture Technology Platform, also known as the Biomolecular Screening Facility (BSF), is a multidisciplinary technological platform at EPFL specializing in high throughput screening for life sciences projects. Directed by Dr. Gerardo Turcatti, the BSF offers assay development, screening infrastructure, and access to a vast collection of over 100,000 chemical compounds for identifying bioactive hits and leads. Additionally, the BSF collaborates with Swiss academic institutions through the Academic Chemical Screening platform of Switzerland (ACCESS) to provide chemical diversity and screening facilities. The platform also engages in applied research related to preclinical drug discovery and the development of bioactive probes, offering services to industrial partners on a case-by-case basis.
