Electric vehicle batteryAn electric vehicle battery (EVB, also known as a traction battery) is a rechargeable battery used to power the electric motors of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) or hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Electric vehicle batteries differ from starting, lighting, and ignition (SLI) batteries, as they are typically lithium-ion batteries that are designed for high power-to-weight ratio and energy density. Smaller, lighter batteries are desirable because they reduce the weight of the vehicle and therefore improve its performance.
Scaled correlationIn statistics, scaled correlation is a form of a coefficient of correlation applicable to data that have a temporal component such as time series. It is the average short-term correlation. If the signals have multiple components (slow and fast), scaled coefficient of correlation can be computed only for the fast components of the signals, ignoring the contributions of the slow components. This filtering-like operation has the advantages of not having to make assumptions about the sinusoidal nature of the signals.
Recristallisation (chimie)La recristallisation est, en chimie, une méthode de purification qui repose sur la différence de solubilité entre le composé à purifier et ses impuretés dans un solvant donné. VocatifEn linguistique, on appelle vocatif le cas grammatical exprimant l'interpellation directe ou l'invocation d'une personne (ou d'une chose) au moyen d'un appellatif (nom propre ou terme d'adresse). Le vocatif marque, en quelque sorte, l'apostrophe. Dans les langues à déclinaison, cet appellatif prend la marque du vocatif. En français, l'utilisation des pronoms "moi" ou "toi" en début de phrase est un reste du vocatif ("moi, je dis ça, je ne dis rien").
GénitifEn linguistique, le génitif est un cas grammatical utilisé pour marquer un complément du nom. Il exprime notamment la possession dans de nombreuses langues (voir possessif (cas)). Il peut être indiqué au moyen de déclinaisons du nom du possesseur (comme en latin), en ajoutant un affixe à ce nom (comme en anglais et en néerlandais), en modifiant l'article défini (comme en allemand) ou en utilisant une adposition qui marque la possession (comme en français).

Most European languages feature possessive forms associated with personal pronouns, like the English my, mine, your, yours, his and so on. There are two main ways in which these can be used (and a variety of terminologies for each): Together with a noun, as in my car, your sisters, his boss.
