Transformation de Fourier

En mathématiques, plus précisément en analyse, la transformation de Fourier est une extension, pour les fonctions non périodiques, du développement en série de Fourier des fonctions périodiques. La transformation de Fourier associe à toute fonction intégrable définie sur R et à valeurs réelles ou complexes, une autre fonction sur R appelée transformée de Fourier dont la variable indépendante peut s'interpréter en physique comme la fréquence ou la pulsation.

Lambeth degree

A Lambeth degree is an academic degree conferred by the Archbishop of Canterbury under the authority of the Ecclesiastical Licences Act 1533 (25 Hen VIII c 21) (Eng) as successor of the papal legate in England. The degrees conferred most commonly are DD (Doctor of Divinity), DCL (Doctor of Civil Law), DLitt (Doctor of Letters), DMus (Doctor of Music), DM (Doctor of Medicine), BD (Bachelor of Divinity) and MA (Master of Arts).

Non-uniform discrete Fourier transform

In applied mathematics, the nonuniform discrete Fourier transform (NUDFT or NDFT) of a signal is a type of Fourier transform, related to a discrete Fourier transform or discrete-time Fourier transform, but in which the input signal is not sampled at equally spaced points or frequencies (or both). It is a generalization of the shifted DFT. It has important applications in signal processing, magnetic resonance imaging, and the numerical solution of partial differential equations.

Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery

Les Bachelor of Medicine et Bachelor of Surgery désignent deux diplômes universitaires décernés après cinq à six années d'études de médecine ou de chirurgie dans les universités britanniques et dans certains pays de traditions britanniques tels que l'Australie ou la Nouvelle-Zélande. Ces bachelors sont théoriquement deux diplômes à part entière mais en pratique, on les considère souvent comme un seul. Au Royaume-Uni, ce sont les diplômes équivalents du Doctor of Medicine.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Un Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, (en abrégé BScIT ou B. Sc IT), est un diplôme obtenu pour un premier cycle universitaire ou de programme en technologie de l'information. Aux États-Unis, un Bachelor of Science in Information Technology dure habituellement de trois à quatre ans. Bien que ce degré principalement basée sur des sujets informatiques couvrant tous les aspects tels que les logiciels, bases de données et de réseau.

Transformation de Fourier discrète

En mathématiques, la transformation de Fourier discrète (TFD) sert à traiter un signal numérique. Elle constitue un équivalent discret (c'est-à-dire pour un signal défini à partir d'un nombre fini d'échantillons) de la transformation de Fourier (continue) utilisée pour traiter un signal analogique. Plus précisément, la TFD est la représentation spectrale discrète dans le domaine des fréquences d'un signal échantillonné. La transformation de Fourier rapide est un algorithme particulier de calcul de la transformation de Fourier discrète.

Doctor of Philosophy

A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, Ph.D., or DPhil; Latin: philosophiae doctor or doctor philosophiae) is the most common degree at the highest academic level, awarded following a course of study and research. PhDs are awarded for programs across the whole breadth of academic fields. Because it is an earned research degree, those studying for a PhD are required to produce original research that expands the boundaries of knowledge, normally in the form of a dissertation, and defend their work before a panel of other experts in the field.

Bachelor of Laws

Le bachelor of laws (LL.B) est un grade universitaire dans le domaine du droit, délivré dans de nombreux pays. L'enseignement du droit dans les pays de tradition universitaire anglo-saxonne est marqué par l'existence de la common law. De plus la distinction ancienne entre droit civil et droit canon, et du droit anglais et romain, perdure dans certaines appellations. Le Bachelor of Civil Law (bachelor of civil law, BCL) fut créé dans les universités d'Oxford et de Cambridge comme un grade de la faculté supérieure de droit civil.

British degree abbreviations

Degree abbreviations are used as an alternative way to specify an academic degree instead of spelling out the title in full, such as in reference books such as Who's Who and on business cards. Many degree titles have more than one possible abbreviation, with the abbreviation used varying between different universities. In the UK it is normal not to punctuate abbreviations for degrees with full stops (e.g. "BSc" rather than "B.Sc."), although this is done at some universities.

Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Theology degree (BTh, ThB, or BTheol) is a three- to five-year undergraduate degree or graduate degree in theological disciplines and is typically (but not exclusively) pursued by those seeking ordination for ministry in a church, denomination, or parachurch organization. Candidates for this degree typically must complete course work in Greek and(or) Hebrew, as well as systematic theology, biblical theology, ethics, homiletics, hermeneutics, counseling and Christian ministry.
