The PhD Program Molecular Approaches to the Living at EPFL trains doctoral students to become leaders in biological research through laboratory-based research, coursework, in-house seminars, and national/international conferences. Affiliated with various institutes, the program covers research areas such as cell biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, cancer research, microbiology, host-pathogen interactions, immunology, systems biology, computational biology, human genetics, stem cells, and metabolism. Students have the opportunity to work with renowned thesis directors and research groups, with open positions regularly updated for talented and ambitious candidates.
